Drumworks (In Collaboration with Adrian Croom)

I’m pleased to announce that I have recently started an ongoing writing collaboration with Adrian Croom who hails from Austin, Texas. We are currently a few tracks into our first project which is focused around hybrid orchestral music cues aimed at trailer and television…

You guys are all pretty familiar with my work, but for those of you who don’t know Adrian, check out his bio here…

“After achieving success as a composer with credits ranging from the From Dusk Till Dawn TV show to ESPN and UFC, Croom set out to make an album showcasing his skills as a producer with a taste for darkwave and minimalist electro. Featuring the vocal talents of an international roster of artists, including Amakiya (a.k.a. Chantell Moody of Golden Dawn Arkestra, Fort Never), Allanah Maarteen (Imitari) and the Berlin-based experimental musician Audriana Acuña, Croom’s last album Belladonna is his most remarkable work yet, a hybrid of film score grandiosity, post-punk moodiness and electro-pop hooks. Anchoring it is the masterful mixing work of Dylan Cameron (S U R V I V E, Troller), with his knack for bringing out exquisite and impactful bass without cluttering the haunting vocals and Grammy-nominated masterer Chris Athens (Drake, Meek Mill). Croom is also composing the score for The Initiation, starring American Horror Story’s Naomi Grossman.”

We are in early stages of writing and it may be that our work goes out to the industry only, I suspect however that there may be some collaborative albums between us released in the very near future!
